I don’t know about you but I cant recall three storms before July1.!!
I remember years when I never kept any kind of track of anything until August. Even then only because my kids have a huge event in Key West where 30k come from all over to enjoy themselves on a one day Lobsterfest!!
We could use some rain in PA.
If you run a ping-list this year, please include me!

Fascinating history lesson for Claudette. Thanks.
Right then, Roy started writing, Pretty Woman
Bring it...
Claudette was Pretty Woman. Now the puzzle pieces fit. Thanks for the lesson.
You filled your propane tanks. Have you fired up the generator to assure good working order?
No I haven't. I've never used it, it brand new, I bought at the end of hurricane season last year. I tested it last year after I bought it and then stored it away.
My brother fixed the other one that wouldn't run last year...he converted it back to just gasoline, no propane. It runs well now too.
Maybe I'll test it (the new one) tomorrow before it starts raining.
I was around for Claudette, 1979 I think, 29 inches of rain in 24 hours most of it in 12 hours. A couple of weeks later we got almost the same from an unnamed system. Seabrook Texas, 78 or 79
It is once again time for the great NautiNurse threads. Thanks for all you do.
We tested the new dual fuel generator a few weeks ago by roasting a batch of coffee beans. Worked beautifully. Very quiet. All propane tanks are full here too.
Good to see you for another silly season.
Getting ready to go to Panama City Beach for vacation a week from tomorrow. Thankfully this storm should be past by then.
Will be watching these threads more, since my brother moved to the Tampa area this year.
Oh, good. We need the rain. I pray it comes over Auburn.
I was thinking of Hurricane Opal the other day. We were about I was in an accident the weekend before Opal went through and the car was totalled. We needed some wheels just for a few weeks, because we were leaving the country anyway, and my dad said we could borrow his car. But, 24-hours later, he changed his mind. Then, Opal went through where he lived and blew a tree down across the hood of his car. My son, bless his heart (and he was about 8 at the time) said, “Granddad shouldn’t have changed his mind about the car. We would have had it and the tree wouldn’t have hurt it.”
Just finished a delivery, Key West to Tampa. Weather has been very unstable, heavy overcast tropical weather with lines of rainstorms moving NE out of the Gulf. Not surprised this just formed up.
Lol! Intuitive youngster.
Thanks for your local report.
Thanks for the ping and the thread! America needs more like you.
