“But is is nice to see the daughter interested in their parent’s works and starting so young.”
Do you really believe a five year old could run a restaurant or a licensed store in a mall?
No, I’m not a mask Karen. I just choose not to expose myself to certain things. They can do whatever they want. I won’t stop them (though I sometimes chuckle inside when I see someone riding a bike double masked. ;)
“What is cute about it?”
The fact that it bothers you so much.

“perhaps you’re the type to call the cops on local kids who setup a lemonade stand.”
No but its being marketed as such.
“One day, Addison’s(biracial) parents were driving when they passed a “For Sale” sign in a shopping plaza.”
Its not a frigen Mall its a strip shopping plaza which are probaly 50% vacant in Fl
Did they buy the plaza or the space ?
Again, bets on how long it takes a Lib to shut it down
You should change your handle from ‘Lurker’ to ‘Troller’.

“Again, bets on how long it takes a Lib to shut it down”
I will take that bet.
Agreed. All that would be a great lesson for a young child. Maybe even the most important part of the lesson.
You should change yours to DoucheMonkey.

No. But I believe she could start learning at 5 and have it down by the time she’s 12. Just so long as she’s not burned out by 13...
“Its not a frigen Mall its a strip shopping plaza”

“Guess you never ran a lemonade stand as a kid -or- perhaps you’re the type to call the cops on local kids who setup a lemonade stand.”
Running a lemonade stand is no different then running a restaurant?
Put down the pipe...
“its a strip shopping plaza which are probaly 50% vacant in Fl”
KY, not FL.
You apparently have not been to Florida recently!
Blah Blah Blah........you lost on this one. Go burn some rubber and release some anger
Her parents are liars.
Thank you for posting. So many positive life lessons...For starters:
1. Nuclear Family intact.
2. Family spending time together.
3. Family supporting each other’s aspirations.
4. Child wanting to follow in family business.
5. Child learning value of money.
6. Child learning value of making honest living/hard work.
7. Child learning entrepreneurship.
My hope is that if they have not already, the family realize which party is against all the above and that the family vote accordingly.
Sorry the thread seems to have been swarmed with so many nitpicking negative Nancys.
not much different then a kid in beauty pagents or similar. they understand some pick out costume or whatever they learn some behind the scenes about the business too. Parents still put up the money and doing all the legal stuff because no 5 year old can get loans or sign legal docs etc. it’s not the kid doing it.
Lemonade stands don't have budgets, permits, utilities, rent, payroll or states taxes to meet. Our Kool Aid stands were what we could get our hands on and 25 cents a cup, the parents bought it all. We pilfered it from them for our profit....like all lemonade stands. Nothing to really run. Its all based thievery, from swiping what your parents bought to the mark up on the drink that never had enough sugar. Ahhh memories!
