Given the amount of people still dying from Covid and the tendency of variants to outwit vaccine, we’re all going to need to live beyond this foolishness and get back to normalcy. One hundred million people die yearly from a variety of causes... Just add one more method to the multitude of possible death outcomes.

If you want to get a vaccine then do so. I waited until I talked to my doctors as I have a recurring Auto-Immune disorder & wanted their opinions as to weather I should get it. Got 1st dose yesterday, everything OK except for pain in injection sight.
That being said. If you are vaccinated, YOU ARE IMMUNE! BY DEFINITION! There is almost zero chance that a non vaccinated person could give you the virus. After 50% vaccination rate, it is extremely difficult for the UNVACCINATED person to get the virus as the chance of coming into contact with an infected person is very unlikely.

Good point. Also compare the average age of death / co-morbidities between Covid and past pandemics. Polio, for example, crippled young children for life. Smallpox killled many children and young adults. If you are not fat or old, you have to be very, very, exceedingly unlucky to die of Covid.

The City of Detroit is to the point of begging their residents to get vaccinated. They have Mobile Vaccine trucks that fail.
People living in the City of Detroit are hardly conservatives.
The vaccine rejections are baffling the City and State government for Detroit.

The best course of action for me was to get vaccinated.

I’m not going to have some guilt trip over the government possible linking vaccinated from unvaccinated and go after fellow conservatives. It’s known who we are.
