It’s NOT like they removed the radioactive cesium-137 or strontium-90 contamination from the water.
The radioactive tritium replaces one of the hydrogen atoms in the water molecule. Thus the contaminated water molecules are themselves radioactive. It would require a complex fractional distillation system to separate water molecules containing tritium from water molecules not containing tritium.
Because tritium is not very radioactive (no gamma rays; very weak beta; 12 year half-life), it looks like Japan has decided that “dilution is the solution to the pollution.”
Well, if it’s TREATED radioactive water, that makes it UN-radioactive, right?
CHINA, the source of COVID-19, whose nation is awash with polluted skies and water, is now worried about environmental contamination?
I believe Japan will ultimately side with China because they never did trust us white devils. A lot like how the south Vietnamese thought.
Here’s my prediction.
China will invade Vietnam first. They’ve got a score to settle since the Vietnamese whooped their asses in 1979.
China needs to bloody their troops and a yuge warm water port would be a nice prize. It’s not like we Americans will be fighting again in another Vietnam quagmire.
They might try Laos or Cambodia or Thailand as well, depending on how greedy they are.
Then they invade Taiwan with a “mass migration” sampan flotilla. Easy to sink plenty of those boats but they will all have cameras uploading to CNN who will portray it as a humanitarian outrage disaster.
Keep in mind that Taiwawn never declared independence. Why should American soldiers die for some island that never bothered to declare independence?
okay, so once China has hegemony over the south Pacific, What’s their next target? Phillippines? Japan?
I believe they will eventually invade Japan. We will send soldiers to fight for a free and independent Japan. But halfway through this guerilla warfare quagmire, we will realize the Japanese are siding with the Chinese because at least they ain’t no-good white devils. Just like what happened in Vietnam.
This is how the “kings of the east” army will form, which the bible predicts will be 200 million strong. At the time the prophecy was written, the entire population of the earth wasn’t even 200 million.

Yep. Disperse it to the point that normal background radiation is still normal. Japan has a hell of a problem but I trust them to deal with it better than the democrats here in the good old USSA.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki are jut fine after we nuke em.
Trillions of gallons of ocean water will dilute everything.
