Unfortunately, no matter how many times I post these facts about the increasingly serious military alliance between Russia and communist China, along with their pledges and pacts for establishing a “new international order”, just about no one here seems to get it. It’s evident by the responses I read on each and every one of these threads regarding Russia. However, I have little to no doubt that the FR Putinistas get it.
Why they are allowed to remain on this site for all of these years doing what they do, as clear-cut obvious as it is, attempting to sway and soften otherwise good folks up to Putin and his evil agenda, is a mystery to me. I would have booted them off years ago.
As someone informed on these issues, what do you think happens as Russia power declines and China’s increases?
The massive illegal Chinese immigration to the Russian far east would seem to be a big problem for Russia long term.

IMO, the current Russia-China alliance is not a long-term one (ie, decades), but rather only until they get past us as an obstacle. At some point afterwards they will go after each other. This is almost certainly the case regarding their islamo-nazi alliances, Iran and Syria.
For now. Everybody is waiting to back the winner.

However, I think most are thinking of China that was. China is the largest nation state on earth with a population estimated to exceed 1.4 billion. which narrowly exceeds India with a population just shy of 1.4 billion. There can be considerable doubt that either China or India actually knows the total population.
North American population is 365 million. That is, China has approximately 4 times more people than North America
Change since say 1995 is immeasurable. The state and the population have and are emerging from dark ages. The people have heartily endorsed the limited personal and economic freedoms not experienced, well.......ever.
It seems that as bad as we consider the communist run government, it has brought freedoms and prosperity never before experienced. At present, the communist government under the iron hand of the CCP is apparently well tolerated. The wealth inequality in China has not been measured but makes the American wealth inequality trivial.
President Xi has a probably impossible task of diminishing the inequality. The people are Xi’s worst problem and potential enemy
The problem for the Pacific rim neighbors is China containment. Out of bounds, Chinese hegemony is a very real problem.
China has allies in DC. The democrats hate America more than the craziest Chinaman and will destroy it just for fun.
