>>Ted Turner LOVED GWTW. Has HE atoned for his sins yet?<<
What sin? Loving GWTW? Turner loved it so much he named his son Rhett.
It'd have at least been better if he had said the casus belli South!
Turner’s sins include licensing Warner Brothers / Merrie Melodies animations and then excerpting the cartoon violence; and marrying Jane Fonda; and oh, there was the time he admitted he figured a nuclear exchange with Russia was inevitable so his plan was to have TBS play “American The Beautiful” over an American flag while the bombs dropped.
Yup; for 13% of the population judging by commercials you would think they are 90%, and the other 10 % are black men with white women for spouses or significant other half’s.
Been that way for about 5 years now.
And any white men in the commercials are depicted as dumber than dirt idiots.
It’s ‘Rope’. And it’s justifiably rated 8 out 10 on the IMDB. One of my favorites.
Bwhahahahaa he died like a bitch, just like Che!
It’s beyond ridiculous.
Game shows too
We FF thru them or refuse to watch in the first place
Found much better things to do as a result
You’re correct on all counts. In spite of making millions, he is obviously not a Mensa candidate.
The Searchers is one of my favorite films. A very different kind of performance by John Wayne.
No comedy there. His character was a hard-bitten man.
I just went out and purchased “Blazing Saddles” and “Idiocracy” for just these reasons. Unfortunately, I may have to buy a new copy of “Team America”.
I loaned mine out and it never came back
Hahah, I love “The Quiet Man”!
we need to woke the wokers
we need to woke the wokers
I,unlike some,am not a film nut...but there are surely films that I enjoy. Many films in fact.I’ve heard of John Ford but I believe that the only film of his I’ve ever seen is “Grapes of Wrath” which,IMO,is an outstanding film...a true classic.
I think that shot you posted and the first one I posted are within a few frames.
Watching that movie, I felt that the framing of scenes was masterful, like the one that shows his silhouette looking with trepidation into where he knows he is going to find the bodies of the girls.
Every scene looks like it was composed as if it were going to be a painting.
I think very highly of that movie.
Been that way for about 5 years nowLonger than that. It started when Obama was first elected.
