Irony that Che is now used to make money for Capitalists.
Snopes is biased and not always accurate by any means, but they do have an interesting piece on the origin of that photo. The conclusion is that it was taken in the late 1980s at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and depicts a performance by a local “guerrilla theater” group. That said, the reverence of Che Guevara is sickening.
Well I certainly won’t want to buy che stuff so that part at least works out for me.
Thanks for posting...Humberto Fontova is a go-to source for me for all things Castro and Che...
A photo of another “fellow traveler”...
Makes me glad I stopped using eBay and PayPal years ago. Never joined Twitter or Facebook, either.
I have never used Paypal, as I never trusted them. I also never used eBay, I just had no use for them. I did use Amazon but I stopped. I had signed up for Twitter but never uses it. They send me posts to my email, but I tossed them all in in my junk mail. They must have gotten the hint, because they stopped sending me posts.
It has to be, I don’t doubt it, especially since the communists don’t believe in GOD. But what about the Atheists?
The building style is possible not unique.
But what appears to be a plastic paint, sealant, or other construction -type bucket emitting the smoke . . .
I do not know how far back in time, to go, when those would be ubiquitous. I do not recall them being around in the 1950’s and early 1960’s.
Containers like that (back then), were made of tough cardboard and a black tar -type laminate (sometimes with a very thin layer of tin, or aluminum, included in that lamination) -— or, were metal, not plastic, way back when.
IIRC
