And Trump did not have to rebuke him publicly last Spring when he reopened the state more than recommended by Fauci. Wrong on the facts and needlessly created bad blood between them.

I agree, that was an unforced error - not only did it piss Kemp off, but it was a turnoff to Trump’s anti-Fauci base too.
...but it doesn’t justify what Kemp did.
