The concept is for a “universal hull” design that serves as the foundation for a variety of ships. I imagine that Arctic operations are a consideration given that this concept is for the Russian Navy.

The last aircraft carrier that they designed and didn’t build had a ski jump. This one has catapults and arrestor wires. Looks like *if built* it would be a little shorter and wider than the America class, with about the same displacement.
