Trump’s Philly lawyers won the impeachment trial. But they’re facing a backlash at home

Thank you but that’s Congress which did nothing. But the poster calling itself Revel is blaming Trump. Nowhere is a president allowed to dictate to States how they must run their elections.

So Trump had no constitutional authority and Congress did nothing.

Revel rants Trump should have used ‘People Power’.

Uh...news for Revel, during 2020 Trump warned voters on dozens of occasions about mail-in voting.

And many voters took heed by contacting their state legislators. In fact, Mike Kelly’s case is now under consideration by the derelict US Supreme Court after he and his group took Trump’s warnings to heart.

Kelly and dozens of others in PA fought state government changing rules unlawfully. They filed a PRE-ELECTION lawsuit and were denied by the court because NO INJURY, no mail-in action had occurred and the legislature still had time to involve itself.

Then POST-ELECTION when fraud was observed, lawsuits were refiled but were dismissed based on the principle of laches, that it was too late to argue.

Indeed Trump caused voters to use their People Power but such voters were rebuffed by state legislatures and tossed by courts.

Revel’s rants are wrong on their face.

Very recently translates back to early December. Karen Fann, like many others, was unaware of the scale of the material fraud until two things 1) Rudy came to town 2) the behavior of the MCBOS. Now Karen is activated. I can’t fault her.

Boy - did I ever have it backward. I stared at those numbers on the TV screen and they just didn’t make sense with the words I was hearing. Just goes to show how topsy turvy this country has become that nothing makes sense anymore. I knew the 2/3 was necessary for conviction but that didn’t even soak in at the time. Now it does. It’s pretty embarrassing truthfully but I can blame it all on the upside down nature of the country - thanks to politicians. At my age, things get harder to understand all the time and I certainly don’t need the politicians to make it more so. I’m just really glad I had sense enough to keep my word about NOT TURNING the trial on to listen to the bloviating! They got their mugs on camera anyway! Bully for them.
