Raskins warning to the public school indoctrinators of the videos they are about to present, tells me they received blowback for presenting the video they had yesterday, unedited to bleep out language.
I lasted through the Raskin’s opening; and it’s going to be 16 hours of this posturing before Trump’s attorneys get a chance to rebut. This is not, in actuality, an impeachment trial; it is, however, the severest test of and assault on the the First Amendment in my lifetime. (LOL- I watched the first Eisenhower inauguration on TV in grade school.)
Watching Day 2. What stands out from the Democrats’ speeches is how highly they think of themselves. How unspeakably tragic it was for Congress to feel threatened by their constituents. How much worse it is for something to happen to them than to us ordinary people, who can be assaulted by BLM and Antifa for months. We don’t matter; we are not special and precious like our govt. officials.

Was chatting with DH earlier.
Like everyone else here, I believe this whole impeachment charade to be a COLOSSAL waste of time and $$$! Their hatred knows no bounds.
I believe the entire purpose of this is to be a DISTRACTION than anything else. I reached this conclusion because, despite the fact that they do hate him intensely and do not want him to run again, I truly believe DJT would not run again, even if the capitol thing had never happened. DJT will be 78 in 4 years.
POTUS is probably one of the most stressful jobs on the planet, unless you are Biden and spend a couple of hours signing what your handlers put in front of you before calling a lid at 11:00 a.m. for your nap. Anyone, even the sharpest person on the planet, would be crazy to run for office at age 78. (and we know, Biden is a crazy old man who likes to sniff hair). I don’t believe Trump has any intention of running at that age.
Sorry for rambling. This entire circus is to distract from the DAMAGE they are doing to this country on an hourly basis as their senile old man signs away our future.

I noticed crying chuck open the proceedings calling for “more” breaks about every two hours. So they can run to the cameras and spread their propaganda. The more they can stall the defense, this will drive the defense perhaps late into the evening and away from the news cycles.
