So,who did she vote for?🤔
This data is better resolved (1%-bands). The IRS data is for 2018, presumably the welfare checks will be based on 2019 data, since 2020 isn’t in yet. If it’s all or nothing based on a threshold, there is a point where the effective income tax exceeds 100%. If a person made $75,001 dollars in 2019, that last buck cost him an (after tax?) $1400 bucks. The effective tax rate on the last dollar is 140,000%. Democrats suck. Basically, he would have $1398 dollars more if he had earned a dollar less.
This is stupid. Social Security, for instance, lowers benefits by $1.00 for every $2.00 you earn if you collect prior to “normal” retirement age.
I am happy for you that you could do it. sounds like a nice life
“But think about it. For you 600 dollars is like 2 dollars for the rest of us. 2000 is like a 20 spot for you. So your really not missing much.”
You missed all the years when my wife started her vet practice from scratch, I took over the failing family business and we had huge loans and never went on any vacation for 10 years and we never gave each other Christmas presents and rarely ate out.
The thing is, just about everyone making under about 300,000 per year thinks they’re ‘middle class’ (or lower than middle class). And half of the Democrat base, at this point are families with incomes of 150k to 300k. So they’re being smashed here by the people they voted for.
They deserve it.
Orange man bad was all some thought about when they voted.
Bad choice.
Orange man was actually on their side,
Now they know.
The cutoff of 75K/150K is not all or nothing—it is a sliding scale.
The first dollar over 75K (single filer) will cost you (1.4K/75K)*$1 = 1.8 cents.
For a married filer, it will cost the couple (2.8K/150K)*1 =
1.8 cents.
This is when those that receive a paycheck are the ones considered rich in DC. Just wait until they repeal the Trump tax cuts.

According to this website:
Although the rules have not been finalized, the plan is that the full stimulus applies to individuals making up to $50,000, couples making up to $100,000. Above those limits, it decreases by 5% for each dollar above those numbers, you lose five cents for every dollar. I am still out of the money, but hardly care. I just hate to think of the damage we are doing to our grandchildren’s future.
One year I earned about $17 dollars above the Medicare income threshold and my wife and I both wound up paying an additional $200 bucks a month more in Medicare premiums. That $17 bucks cost me over $2400.
Lots of odd things, when you have a government/media complex that lies worse than the Nazis did.
For example, 90% of the country thought that Trump’s tax cut raised their taxes - while, at the same time, 85% got a net tax cut.

Think of how the media has portrayed the disorganized Capitol Hill sit-in as an insurrection. How do you storm anything without a truckload of guns? Are we back in the Stone Age, where the opposition was armed with clubs?
A good chunk of the GOP Congress views itself as our aristocratic betters. That unearned hauteur is pretty much the reason for the deranged GOP Congressional response to the unarmed sit-in being distorted beyond all recognition into an armed insurrection with their collusion. In the eyes of our Vichy Republican lords and barons, MAGA demonstrators staging a sit-in committed lese majeste - a crime against their dignity as aristocrats. We need to replace these aristocrats with people who actually want to do what we want rather than what they want. They are hawking up loogies on us while telling us it’s raining.
Thank you, and it is. It’s simple, nothing fancy, but we don’t have the worries some others have. We would have loved a fancy house and a new car every year but wanted to be free of debt more so I can understand the “want”. I wish more young people would think about what their lives will be like in 40 years rather than day to day. I grew up on a farm so it’s not like it’s been a huge sacrifice. I wanted a new car when I turned 17 and Dad said “you will never have anything in this life if you are always paying for a new car”. LOL That was almost 50 years ago and I remember it like it was last week.
Biden and his thugs only care about white liberal elites, corrupt progressive mayors, 'elites' and DC swamp rats who live in Mansions with the help of Chinese money.
Whenever I see little kids I keep thinking—”Do you have any idea what your future is gonna be?”
They have no clue, of course.
—and that is the whole goal of those who want to rule us.
The elites see themselves as super-human, and everybody else as sub-human.
It is getting kinda obvious.
“You’d think people making six figures would be smart enough to save some of it for emergencies instead of living in a house they can’t afford and driving vehicles they can’t afford.”

It’s alarming how the more people earn/receive, the quicker they find ways to spend it.
Americans angry they may no longer qualify for $1,400 stimulus checks, say it feels like a ‘targeted attack’ on middle class
Yes. The middle class is in their way.
