Three years ago I would have considered a direct attack by China upon Taiwan to be a direct attack against a stalwart ally. This would have been an undeniable truth. Today it is no less of an existential truth than it was before, but you have an administration that is absolutely beholden to the evil bastards in china to a degree never before seen in this country.

It will interesting to see what happens. I'm of the opinion that Taiwan may be a tougher nut to crack than China thinks. I'm praying that this is true, because the U.S. government under the fake-president Biden will fold in seconds.

Taiwan has the scientific and fissile materials to rapidly become nuclear. They have not in the past as they relied on the nuclear umbrella of the USA. That umbrella probably does not exist with Joe Biden as president.

Taiwan would be fools not to go nuclear as soon as possible. Taiwan could not defeat China in war. If Taiwan was nuclear it could make the cost of war prohibitive to China. Israel has the designs of our most sophisticated warheads but that is another story. I would suspect they would lend these to Taiwan.
