The Grateful Dead would appear to people who have a jaundiced idea of what music is. While you're entitled to your opinion The Dead's music was wide and varied. Everything from electric to acoustic. They were at one time a band that played all over the country and the world to thousands of loyal fans and did charitable work that they never took any credit for.
