The Saudis can’t use the weapons they already have. Their military has a lot of expensive toys but they don’t train and they don’t care.
They lost a war against the Houthi rebels for Allah’s sake!
The Iranians would be able to walk into Saudia if it wasn’t for the US forces there — whether the Sauds have “smart bombs” or not.

But, let’s say that’s the same story. Then the weapons’ sales don’t really change anything in the ME. But they do mean billions of dollars to US companies and their employees, stockholders, etc. They in some cases also reduce our costs of production by increasing manufacturing volume.
That’s exactly what this is all about. Biden is “freezing” the sale. This simply means that when the Saudis start filling their bank accounts and Party accounts then all will be “unfrozen”. This is how the political blackmail system works.

Many. Freepers telling me, for example to get a job a a meat packing plant, or do farm labor or manufacturing or in landscaping (all minimum wage starter jobs). Jobs I can not or will not do. Ever.
Being told I was lazy and a drain on society if I preferred unemployment for now.

Pretty much that’s it. Even in my niche area of games development, Indian recruiters are taking over. So another field soon to be dominated by Indians

But no, what used to be American recruiters calling and emailing about games development positions in Unity3D and Unreal (mainly) are now dominated by Indian recruiters. Including Cloud Imperium Games. No wonder their code base is starting to suck. Indian coders tend to do that to any project.

That’s sort of what I thought, but at the time I was posting, I was half asleep / not sure. I do know the Saudis are inept, to put it kindly. ;-)
