And yet thousands flock to Utah to get the same picture that is shown in the fake reality movie that is Forrest Gump. Guess Monument Valley is fake too because I have never really seen it with my own eyes but it is in the movie. They used to say the internet was fake too and one could be anything on the internet. Until one day when the reality hit them them like a ton of bricks. By saying the movie is “clearly missed reality” then you have missed the point. Let me guess you believe everything that is written in the Bible as literally occurring. If that is the case you must clearly believe in Angels and God. People say those are “clearly not reality” too. The movie was clearly fiction but fiction does resemble reality to a point and that is where you go astray. The story line about Forest Gump and Jenny was fictional, true but the events that occur in the story that happened in the world (the Vietnam War etc.) were not “clearly not reality”.
“Yes when I dream of real life I dream I want to go to war and other bad things like cancer and dying.” /s
By the way removing deadfall is illegal in certain parts of the country. It is considered stealing if it is not on your property. It is called land management but Californians are too much into telling you how to manage your land and your daily life than to manage their own land.
Dream on, and enjoy. It’s your choice.
At the end of the story she finds a rich baby-daddy ... while it was a good movie the morals were very questionable.
All land, trees and game is The King’s land, trees and game!
My takeaway was that Forrest was the most intelligent character in the movie ... by far.”
That’s precisely what makes “Forrest Gump” so satisfying. Lacking conventional “intelligence” (and complex motives), Forrest approaches life through innocence and an open heart, invariably doing the right thing at the right time, without a moment of indecision. Un-Hamlet.
No, the movie didn’t start the saying, “like peas and carrots” so stopped reading.
Libtards infect all they infest.
Jennys destroy men. Any man who thinks they can save a Jenny needs to Run Forrest Run!
It was referring to Jenny’s and Forrest’s PERSONALITIES being “like peas and carrots” (mutually complimentary), not that the movie started the adage.
Yes...pretty quickly. Jenny never wanted Forrest dead.
By the time she has Forrest’s(?) baby, she seems to have her life straightened out.
You read only what you wanted. It didn’t say that at all.
