"...I really don’t think any sane person would advise him to start compromising our national security right now..."

Yeah. Compromising national security. We wouldn't want him accepting millions in Communist Chinese money and have Donald Trump Jr. having sex with little girls.

Or sleeping with Communist Chinese spies. Or having a spy for a Chauffeur. Or being one of the most powerful Republican Senators whose wife has family ties to the Bank of China.

Wouldn't want that.

Personally, I say burn the entire intelligence structure to the ground. Raze it as it exists. Scorched earth.

Snowden gave USA intelligence trade craft to the Chinese and the Russians in exchange for his personal protection and freedom.

Pardon Snowden?

Never!

I agree plus Julian Assange needs a pardon. A publisher and journalist who told the American people (and the world) what the deep state is doing to our privacy and to the world in our name. He has suffered enough.

YOur the first person to make that accusation, to include the US government.

The damage to sources and methods is far outweighed by informing the American people of the FACT their government was ignoring the law and spying on them.

No sir, sorry to pop your bubble, but the story was briefly in the MSN before the MSN shut it down. Info also came to me via long ago friends in the Intel community and DHS. What he did is well-known and cost the US dearly both in lost Methods and Means as well as lives. It was not ‘damage’ but complete destruction. And I guess you are not overly familiar with what the building and lost of Methods and Means entails or you would not make light of the destruction of tools that keep all of us safe. It was a windfall for hostile countries like China enabling them to penetrate this county and hack its computers and infrastructure; something heroes commonly do?

NSA has been intercepting and storing ALL electronic communications WORLDWIDE since the 1950s to include landlines and satellites. As for the law - the Constitution is not a suicide pact, as you would have it; some laws have to be ignored when playing on the world’s stage, else you die.

The NSA collection of your oh-so-precious phone meta-data was public knowledge many decades ago; there were books written about it. Do you imagine that the lives of dedicated undercover operatives working in hostile countries, to include China, Russia, Iran, AQ, and ISIS, is worth their deaths (many were shot after being tortured) to inform you of something you could have learned at your local library had you bothered? Eddie Snowjob has blood on his hands - a lot of it - that’s your ‘hero’ and, no doubt, you’d make the same arguments for the Rosenbergs, Aldrich Ames, and Robert Hansen all of which the MSN praised at one point of another.

We have been infiltrated by adversaries for years. They knew what’s going on but we didn’t. Snowden let us all in on it. He nothing to gain, only loyalty to the constitution.

He should be pardoned and given back-pay.

Absolutely NO. The MSN let you in on the minor parts of Snowjobs betrayal. You could have gained the exact same information from your local library.; there have been books written about NSA’s data collection of phone calls and other wire data like TTY. Who’s going to pay back the families of the operatives whose deaths he caused by revealing their names, addresses, projects, and goals?

He should be pardoned by a squad of 12.

“And I guess you are not overly familiar with what the building and lost of Methods and Means entails or you would not make light of the destruction of tools that keep all of us safe.”

I’m quite familiar with them, and help build many of them.

It was not just metadata that Snowden informed us of. It was targeted spying on US Citizens in violation of law.

Have you been asleep the past 4 yeas? Wake up. We live in a post-Constitutional country. Bully for Snowden if he damaged the lawless and rotten at its core Deep State.

I used to be completely against it...

But over the last 4 years, I’ve seen what people like Clapper and Brennon have done, and it’s time for a “Church Commission, PtII,” where the CIA and NSA get hauled over the coals, and Brennan and Clapper go to prison.

Years ago I would never had said that Snowden was a hero. I do now. And I hope that President Trump pardons him and Assange.

Mark

I agree with all except “disappear part. Russia is protecting him and “our” government has made it impossible for him to leave there.

They even commandeered a plane carrying the President of Bolivia because they “thought” Snowden might be on board!

You wake up sir, read my tag line - its your turn.

Eddie Snowjob cost lives of people like myself who have put our lives on the line for our country. You have no idea what you are up against or you would not have believed one word the MSN told you about him and his actions. He signed the death warrants of many good people.

100,000 DOJ employees. Not a ONE Patriot whistleblower in 4 years of Trump. You need to face the ugly truth that we live in a post-Constitutional country and are ruled by unelected bureaucrats. You probably haven’t noticed because you have a good job or comfy pension. Let buy you another clue. We’re guilty of the same crime Manafort and Flynn were guilty of: supporting President Trump. Don’t think your Deep State heroes won’t come for us, too. Snowden deserves a pardon and the medal of freedom for uncovering the corrupt and rotten at its core U. S. government.

Reality Winner - in the same ‘patriotic’ whistleblower league as the hero of FR: Eddie Snowjob

More work for a squad of 12 or short helicopter rides over shark infested waters.

Don’t worry because Faux New’s Fawn Vanity assures us that 99.99% of LEO and the FBI are really good patriots.
