Not only should Snowden should pardoned, Trump should go on TV and read classified documents from a the nation everyday until Biden is sworn in.

Still ambivalent on this. What Snowden did was wrong but tell me, what are all of those people at the NSA doing? Why have we never been given a definitive answer? Pardon him, let him spill his guts fearing no ramifications, and pardon Assange while you’re at it.

~~~
Democrats are already talking about trying to put Trump in jail after he gets out. I really don’t think any sane person would advise him to start compromising our national security right now.
“The vast majority of the documents that Snowden ...
exfiltrated from our highest levels of security ... had
nothing to do with exposing government oversight of domestic activities. The vast majority of those were
related to our military capabilities, operations, tactics,
techniques and procedures.”
— General Martin Dempsey
Edward Snowden is an egomaniac with a martyr complex.
His disclosures did great damage to our national security.
He should NOT be pardoned under any circumstance.
He should. However, Snowden would need his head examined to rely on a pardon issued by Trump. The Supreme Court left the Constitution long ago, all it would take is one decision the strip that pardon away. Furthermore, our government is now a criminal gangster enterprize. They could simply ignore it, lock him up anyway on a new trumped-up charge. That’s exactly how the USSR would have done it. It’s heartbreaking, but at this point when dealing with the US government, you must think of it is though you were dealing with the Soviet government. We no longer live under rule of law. If he gets a pardon, he should disappear and enjoy other parts of the world where he can be safe.
It’s my understanding Snowden exposed all the illegal domestic surveillance that was/is being conducted on US citizens. If I’m correct he’s a hero.
I wasn’t in favor of it when it first happened. Then I got to know the Deep State better.. President T should absolutely pardon him IMO.
Mr. President, pardon Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. Then also issue complete blanket pardons for ALL who have been prosecuted (persecuted), fined and closed down for violating un(anti-)constitutional lockdown orders in their efforts to save their livelihoods! Commute and dismiss ALL fines that have been inflicted on those just trying to make ends meet and feed their families!!!
Leftnoid heads would explode (again) but it sho’ would be fun to watch!!!
Can a US President pardon non-federal crimes?
“Still ambivalent on this.”
Me too. Although, if Rand Paul is for it and Lindsey Graham is against it, I would almost always side with Rand Paul versus Lindsey Graham.
Snowden probably felt as helpless about what he saw as we do watching our nation be stolen.
He did what he could.
I’d break any law you could throw at me if I thought it would save our country.
But let the criminality he exposed keep on keepin' on.
Not the sharpest tool in the shed, are ya?
Ed Snowden is a hero for the American people.
Eddie Snowjob (a traitor to America and its people) worked for the Chinese and is in the same league as the Rosenbergs, Ames, and Hanson. That you did not know what had been in the public domain for decades is on you and does not make the traitor a hero. He deserves to be draw and quartered, then shot.
His damage to NSA is beyond calculation and has nothing to do with your precious phone metadata. You believe everything the MSN said about him - all of which was misdirection, but refuse to believe what the MSN says about DJT. So which is it?
