If New Yorkers were smart (big IF), they would scrap De Blasio.

It’s a pity those people can’t get a nice Surrey’s burger or yummy coconut pancakes at the Pancake King or shop on Sunday’s at Stone’s.

Mandate? Not so much. More like every stinkin leftist, whatever and their invisible friends did what they were told.

Call it what you want but the bottom line is he did a terrible job as mayor, ran for reelection and won easily. Obviously the people of NYC don't mind mayors who do a terrible job and the ones that do move away.

Making the last paragraph I pointed out the real mystery.

The proposal was defeated by 78.6 percent of the vote, with 995,204 voting on the issue. Of that number, 782,252 voters opposed a constitutional convention – more than voted for de Blasio.

Why would 3/4 of a million New Yorkers support the Constitution as is and not vote against a communist?

I live in south central NH, about 10 miles west of Nashua. I am currently working in Nashua. We were home for a couple weeks because the guy sitting next to me was Asymptomatic the day after Thanksgiving. We are back now on a total volunteer basis.

Virtually, no traffic on the road coming to work today. We were working from home in from March through May. Almost everyone came back on June 1st. Just a few stayed working at home. People who had genuine medical issues. Now, probably 1/3 are working from home. Many will stay home on Thursday because of the impending storm. I may just because it will be a pain to drive. The thing that is going to effect many income tax states in the future is paying tax to a state where you are physically not working. If you live in NH, and work form home, why should you have to pay MA income tax. Our governor Sununu is already suing your commonwealth. Even more so, if you formally worked in NYC but live in CT and now work from home, why would you continue to pay NYC and NYS income tax? If Goldman Sachs moves their offices to Florida, why would an employee in working from home in CT have to pay NYC/NYS income tax? I remember when Fidelity Investments purchased the former Digital Equipment campus in Merrimack, NH. They gave the choice to all their employees except the executive floor to move to this new location. Almost everyone took it because they immediately got a 5% raise. Plus the cost of living and owning a home was so much cheaper up here. Not to mention the whole issue of not having to drive into downtown Boston every day. Plus not having to lock your doors at night, etc. Real estate prices are up probably 25-30% in the last 2 years on the west side of Nashua. There is virtually nothing mush under $400K anymore. A new construction house just sold down the street for $599 for a 2400 sq ft house. It was nothing special. I drove by yesterday morning. There were two cars parked in the driveway with NJ plates. We are getting over run with people from NY, NJ, MA, CT and even CA.
