Actually I prefer “Free Enterprise”.

Capitalism is neutral, it relies on the ethics and morals of the people who possess the Capital. And if Capital is concentrated in the hands of bad people, then the results are devastating.

So predatory capitalists are OK in your book?

Also, most P/E ratios in the NYSE are embarrassing, that is not "capitalism", its more like a gov...err...Federal Reserve subsidies/US Treasury/Investment Houses subsidies/"3 Card Monte" policies based on debt. It's sure as hell inst't the free market, so go embrace your "capitalism", at this point their is nothing fundamental about your "provider".

BTW, as for may family, we grow/kill most of our food by hand and build our own shelter.

I like free enterprise also, but it’s just a form of
Capitalism.

Communism is a form of Capitalism, the State controls the Capital.

Free Enterprise allows more individuals to control Capital.

I am pro free "market" (Quotations are for idiotic lurkers who think it's a physical/applied market and follow the disingenuous teachings of Richard Wolff), however, most of today's capitalists are morphing into the Marx/Engels description.

Also, free market is no place for government intrusion regarding picking losers and winners. Current capitalists suck the teat of government and vice-e-versa with the government as well. Almost time for "When in the course of human events..."

You guys can revel in the fact of being on target, but folks
still refer to what they desire as a Capitalist free enterprise
system.

When you get to attributing it to a Communist system, you’re
going to lose 99.5% of aware people.

Is Capitalism perfect? No. Is anything? It’s a lot better
that most other things out there.

When you think government involvement is negative (which I
do as well), you make a massive mistake of thinking it is
of no value.

Tell that to Communist China, that has it’s fingers in
everything. Has it benefited from Capitalism?
