Roberts authored an opinion cited in this one, South Bay Pentecostal v. Newsom, May 29, 2020. That order held the state could limit attendance in churches to a fixed number. That decision was outrageous.
It’s no wonder he stuck to his guns. would have been an obvious inconsistency for him to reverse himself in such a short time.

Those like Roberts pretend conservative until gaining a position of real power and then force their previously hidden agenda.
Roberts will always side with the left going forward.
