What about Russia?

Because they do it all the time, and have since the Soviet Union days.

The problem being is china says the whole South China Sea is their airspace.

I don’t think we would be pleased by Chinese bombers flying around our borders.

Of course its true - this stuff happens all the time. You are missing the point - China claims way beyond accepted international borders, even claims other countries waters and airspace. And the planes were far out at sea, not along China’s physical borders, but flying inside an imaginary and arbitrary line.

Russian planes overfly the US every year, by the way, as our planes do theirs.

Or like Serbia, a country of 8 million, had 6 million march on the capital to end socialism there.

Once a country goes full socialist, there’s no getting rid of it short of a countrywide uprising - which may take generations to happen, meanwhile everyone lives in misery.

China’s so called air defense identification zone is closer to Taiwan and Japan than it is to China. It’s nowhere even close to China’s borders. China is instead trying to encroach on literally everyone else’s space in the region. So, yeah, it’s totally cool that we do this.

"Despite multiple upgrades, the veteran aircraft is still limited to its old-fashioned airframe. The bulky turboprop plane is not only very visible to various radars, but it also makes a lot of noise.

" “The Tu-95 is the ‘brightest’, it’s the noisiest among our planes. It’s so noisy with all its propellers and four engines that even an underwater hydroacoustic system, resting on the ocean bed and used to track submarines, hears the noise of a Tu-95 flying at a 10km altitude,” according to Lukashevich."

I'm reminded of the surprise from seismologists when they discovered the phantom squiggles on their charts were tornadoes touching down. I'm wondering if they can detect these bombers?

...ability to do anything is pretty darn limited.

I can give whatever moral support I have to anyone being more active.

I can forward material I find to one of our local/regional talk show hosts who is widely followed. I have proof he used them.

I can patronize the businesses that do not comply and let them know that is why I am there.

I can put up a sign for Trump. I can cut every fascist thieving prog out of my life. I can donate small amounts to the defense fund.

Maybe it’s not dramatic and heroic, but being part of the deplorables means the leaders have the influence brought by our massive presence.

1M in DC was a good start.

We are not yet fighting a regime with any power. We still have the power. We have to be the support that allows our leaders to keep that position.

I’m encouraged that the attempt to use ethnic/religious/racial/language differences here as a wedge, did not work. Trump pulled support from the assumed prog coalition.

I hope we avoid the cleansing and the 4 years of civil war. I use the writings of those Yugoslavians who survived as manuals for my own survival.

Most of us here are.

I go to The Donald.win to hear the younger folks. They are on fire. We had the best and we will die before experiencing the very worst. They are in their prime.

I pray for them to revolt and succeed.

We’ve been in a very slow moving civil war since 1960, and is now picking up steam as the left begins to capitalize on the lessons and methods that worked successfully in other places in this county - this election being their ‘crowning glory’ to date.

I use the life I’ve lived to survive - no manuals needed, trouble is no one listens when I tell them what’s coming - just too unthinkable/outrageous/”it can’t happen here”/innate naivety. I imagine that to be most of the problem stems from so many being ignorant of their own and world history.

Kind of like "air sonar"?

air sonar is best sonar.

it is so much lighter and more... ephemeral than water sonar.

Air sonar washes over you with a calming touch. Water sonar beats upon your senses with sonic hammers.

At our house, we use air sonar as our “table music” during family dinner time because it encourages friendly communication.

"Kind of like "air sonar"? "

Ha. I suppose.

I read years ago that they were so loud because the propeller tips exceeded the speed of sound...little sonic booms?

“I don’t think we would be pleased by Chinese bombers flying around our borders.”

They do not have that capability/range.

But the Russians do it all the time.

What is the issue?
