Agreed
I keep waiting for the first landlord lawsuits against the government, arguing the eviction freeze to be an unlawful taking under the 5th amendment. I don’t see how it doesn’t have legs. They should be able to put in a side claim of tortious interference with prospective business advantage for good measure.

Saw a small commercial property for sale in a suburb just west of Chicago.
Selling price: $369,000
Taxes: $55,000
I think I'd demolish the building just to reduce the taxes.
This may send a lot of people over the edge.
If Cuomo was on the ballot right now he would lose in a landslide.
Since April in my 36 unit apt building where I live there has been at least 17 apts of people moving out as they did not pay rent. I have been told that they pay 1st month and last then stop paying after moving in. Currently have 4 empty apts. Some of them have had multiple renters so higher then 17. That number is just from seeing people coming and going.
