California Gov. Gavin Newsom and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) released new safety guidelines for all private gatherings amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Which is it 'rules' or guidelines? No way this is even close to enforceable.

So we just learned that our county has moved into a new tier and we can now open movie theatres and have 200 people in churches and restaurants. But it’s not okay to have your family over for thanksgiving?? Puhlease.
The idiocy is incredible. By now everybody in the country knows about COVID. If they decide to have a family gathering it is not as if they are going to change their mind because the governor makes an announcement.
It is time politicians start doing their jobs - finding ways to open schools and sport for kids instead of wasting time on inconsequential nonsense.
