Main cannot do better than Collins in this election. She is a Republican and will help us keep the Senate majority.
According to USSenate.gov, Collins voted yes. Which is it?
****************
FNC (Tucker’s show) shows 52-48, and reported that Collins was a nay.
Odd that they are reporting different numbers than Senate dot gov.
I know this are provisions for Senators to “correct” their votes. Is that going on here, and if so, which way version is being corrected?
That vote list says it all.
She probably has the go ahead to vote how she wants as it wasn’t needed, however, logically, the issue is Brett in her race and that’s going to hang over her.
This data was the sustainment vote not the confirmation vote. That will be up in one hour!
Collins voted NO, This report is wrong!
“Susan Collins officially ended her Senate Campaign tonight. She is done.”
She ended it on Kavenaugh, the moment she gave any credibility to Ballsy.
The vote was about qualifications....not the system. Collins was absolutely wrong to view the vote “her way”.
The later actual confirmation vote at around 7:30 PM EDT was 52-48.
1) Roberts has had his time as Chief Justice. Now that he’s aligned with a liberal minority he might as well resign... No telling what could come out in the news about him, that would otherwise be treated as no big deal if he were back at home living happily ever after...
2) How old is Breyer now?
Republicans should never vote yes on a Demorat nominee from now on. This was purely political. Democrats know Barrett is qualified. What a bunch of jerks.
Hmmm. Collins must feel comfortable in her re election prospects.
She thinks this will save her
It rarely save liberal republicans
Socialists want a proud open liberal socialist who can swear and scream at republicans
Victory formation!
I believe she followed Murkowski and voted No on the procedural votes and voted yes to confirm. Pols like claiming they voted for and against a measure so they can tell the group they are talking to the answer they think will help them most.
Collins voted no. Murkowski from Alaska came through with a yes vote.
Well you can’t have a hundred votes if one of the Senators didn’t show up.
If true that may have gotten her attention?
