I shop there and have witnessed the store aisle stock clerks rudely talking to customers to wear their masks properly.
It’s not what they say, it’s how they say it.
It’s been rumored that some of the store employees are BLM/Antifa, typical white young people attending the local colleges with a gig at Trader Joe’s. Most of these young people there are hard working and polite but a few seem to have adopted a Marxist mindset. These latter need to go.
The Store’s headquarters in California had shut down this store temporarily during the nearby riots and were thinking to shut it down permanently based on BLM influences but tens of thousands of its customers signed an online petition to keep the store open.
So it’s still open but maybe it should be shut down. The next store is a further 4 miles away. Not a big deal.
But after the rudeness I witnessed, I am thinking to divorce myself from Trader Joes.
Black Lives Matter protesters pushed their way into a Seattle Trader Joe’s demanding the company give “15 percent at least.”

Someone should ask them if they want that 15% based off of gross receipts or net. They would have no clue what either word means.

I have mixed feelings about that.
BLM in Louisville did this, too, to Hispanic businesses.
Their demands include:
* “donate money”, hire blacks and pay diversity trainers
* put up pro-BLM signs
OR
* they’ll interfere in the business such as setting up shop in front of it
* give bad reviews on Yelp (see Yelp’s flag a racist feature)

Seattle was an amazing place up until 1998.

They pretty much have. No arrest for thieves under a certain amount.
If their prices go up, then you should stop shopping there—otherwise you are subsidizing BLM.
I would gladly pay the now $3 for a bottle of their 2 buck chuck wine just so I could then crack it over one of their heads.
