I watched these proceedings this morning. I thought Graham and Lee did good speeches denouncing the democrats.

Democrats tried to take their ball and go home, if Republicans wouldn’t play by their rules...only then did they realize they didn’t own the ball and couldn’t take it home.

I really, really hope Trump wins again, and we at least hold onto the senate - but a 6-3 SC is a decent going away present for us.

Can you imagine if DJT wins again, and we keep the senate, and get to replace 2-3 more SC members over the next 4 years?

Sen. Mike Lee excoriated Democrats for their “judicial culture wars” and appalling behavior toward Republicans’ nominees in the past, beginning with Judge Robert Bork and most recently with Justice Kavanaugh. Lee noted that while Democrats have gone “cruelly, disgustingly low” in nomination after nomination, “Republicans took the high road.”

“Hubris makes the powerful deaf as well as blind,” said Lee, describing the Democrats’ tactics as “idiotic knife fights” rather than thoughtful debates.

“Now they’re trying to scuttle this meeting for political purposes,” he declared. “The left seems to think that the Supreme Court exists to advance their worst ideas” and “to tell everyone how to live” by appealing to the courts when they lack the votes to pass their agenda.

No matter what, after November 3, a wrecking ball should be taken to every agency in the Government. I am talking mass firings, especially where the agency head and much of senior management was put in place AFTER 2008.
