Israeli minister: Normalized relations with another Arab or Muslim nation likely before US elections

Israel's minister of regional cooperation said Wednesday that he expects normalize relations with another Arab state before the U.S. elections.

Reuters reported that Ofir Akunis, who is also a member of Israel's parliament, the Knesset, told Army Radio that the announcement would come before Nov. 3.

"I have a reasonable basis to believe that the announcement will come before November 3 - that, if you'll permit me, is what I understand from my sources," he said, according to the news service.

"I will be very happy if the announcement will happen - and before the elections in the United States," Akunis added.

Oman, Kuwait or Saudi Arabia are my best guesses.

Algeria or Morocco as an outside possibility.

If it’s not Saudi, it will be dismissed as no big deal. If it is Saudi, it will either be suppressed in the media desperately or the Dems will shriek that this is foreign meddling into the electoral process... Probably both.

It will be an arab state that wants Trump to win. And that is most of them. Without Trump, Iran will become a much greater menace.

Wouldn’t it be great if it was tomorrow and our President can state it at the debate!

But foreign policy is not in scope for the debate.

Ignore Palestine, isolate Iran. Arab countries figure that being an Israel ally is good for business, and protect them from Iran. Then Iran regime can collapse under the weight of isolation and sanctions

Fascinating that he ties the timeline to the US election. The world seems to revolve around D.C.

“Oman, Kuwait or Saudi Arabia are my best guesses.”

Those are great candidates. Saudi Arabia would be ball game.

Sudan has been mentioned before, and it was in the news yesterday, when it agreed to pay victims (~$335 million) for the terrorist activities of their former dictator (now in jail there, facing a potential death sentence).

President Trump immediately announced that he was ready to remove them from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list, as soon as they did.

In a real world POTUS Trump would be given the Peace Prize which is now a worthless gesture.

“In a real world POTUS Trump would be given the Peace Prize which is now a worthless gesture.”

The winner of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize was the UN’s World Food Program - which just happens to be Hunter Biden’s photo op “cause”.

He “volunteered” to take some pictures with them (likely to burnish his own image, as a PR stunt).

“Who owes us more than Kuwait? About time they step up.”

Kuwait is solidly with us.

They have to maintain strategic harmony with Saudi Arabia.

I’d bet they (Kuwaitis and Saudis) have been discussing it intensely.

After all, what does a POTUS have to do with foreign affairs. That’s the State Department’s and Colonel Vindman’s job, and any POTUS who thinks otherwise should be impeached./s

“Another reason not to discuss foreign affairs.”

Exactly. Joe wants to immediately go back to supporting Iran terrorism.

Thanks BeauBo. My guess is, it will be another African state; it would be nice if it were Saudi Arabia, but I think the Kdm can be ruled out, along with the pseudostates Lebanon and Syria.

The Middle East wants peace. They’re as sick of war as we are - so they support Trump.

If Biden were to win there would be war to keep the hawks, pentagon thugs, and the war machine humming. Many kickback for Kerry, Biden, and assorted ‘kids’ of corrupt ‘elites’...

Who will ‘pay the price of war’? Israel, Middle East countries, the people of the United States, the people of the Middle East, the people of Iran. Who wins? The Joe Biden’s and John Kerry’s and corrupt liberal ‘elites’ of Washington and the criminal deep state.
