HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — An appellate court judge in Pennsylvania has turned down an emergency petition from Republicans seeking to block the Philadelphia suburb of Delaware County from operating a three-day early voting center in the city of Chester.

Commonwealth Court Judge Kevin Brobson, in a decision Friday night, wrote that a county judge had reasonable grounds to reject the emergency petition.

Pennsylvania is a key battleground state in the contest between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden.

The voting center began operating Friday in the predominantly Black and Democratic city of Chester.

The county's solicitor, William Martin, called the litigation a baseless attempt at voter suppression.

The judge was no right to interfere with voting access procedures deemed necessary by the interested parties in this matter. The judge is actively attempting to suppress GOP voter efforts.

What the F? There is no early voting in PA. Chester is the absolute ghetto hellhole in PA. More crime there than Philadelphia.

There is no state law in Pennsylvania that provides for early voting.

But the Democrat Party and some judges have gone rogue.

:: There is no early voting in PA. ::

By election law?
The judge is usurping the Legislature and the will of the people.

What about equality. Either everyone gets to vote early or nobody gets to vote early

Yes by election law. There is just mail-in ballots. The way this is written it sounds like they can show up in person to vote.

No early voting. No mail-in ballots. Do it right. The way it has been done for over two centuries.

As for equilty, that's BS. The ghetto dwellers in Chester will never be equal and they should be treated as such.

There is no state law in Pennsylvania that provides for early voting.

That which is not forbidden is MANDATORY!

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania? This is just a State Judge right? This should be appealed asap. Supreme Court decision in 2000. Judges are not to re-write election law. Every one of these morons who does, is in violation of the S.C. decision, and should be thrown from the bench, because they’re not even checking with legal decisions that should effect their ruling.

I think you can actually go to the voting service center in your county and do mail in voting in person. Meaning you go and apply for a mail in ballot, they process immediately and hand you the ballot and then up you complete it and seal it like you do a mail in ballot but all at the same time. I believe that is legal.
