They were willing to let him live if he kept quiet and had no copies. Now the only question is whether he will be killed/destroyed on fake charges as a warning to anyone else fighting the Deep State or ignored for fear of attracting more attention and anger.
And with Antifa feeling their oats, even if the DNC decides to allow him to live he might be killed by non-state actors.

Now the cat is out of the bag and if the videos are legit, the authorities will have no choice but to act on it.....
