The New York Post story shows once and for all that Trump's impeachment was all based on a lie.
Remember January? I know it feels like several lifetimes ago, the before times of life as we used to know it. But think back to the biggest story of those chilly days. It wasn’t the Chinese virus slowly spreading to our shores or the Democratic presidential primary. No, it was the impeachment of the president of the United States. This week’s bombshell New York Post story on Hunter Biden now shows what many of us suspected: The impeachment was a ridiculous sham.
The basis for the impeachment, for those whose recollections are understandably shaky, was that President Trump pressured the president of Ukraine to launch investigations into the energy company Burisma for the purely political purpose of hurting Joe Biden. Central to that allegation was the argument that Trump and the United States had no legitimate interest in seeing Burisma investigated. If the trove of emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop are accurate, and they have not been disputed, then this argument falls to pieces.
Pam Bondi, working for the Trump defense team, said this back during the national ordeal about the Democratic House managers’ constant attempts to call allegations against the Bidens “baseless”:
In their trial memorandum, the House managers describe this as baseless. Now, why did they say that? Why did they invoke Biden or Burisma over 400 times? The reason they needed to do that is because they’re here saying that the president must be impeached and removed from office for raising a concern. And that’s why we have to talk about this today. They say ‘sham.’ They say ‘baseless.’ They say this because if it’s OK for someone to say, ‘Hey, you know what? Maybe there’s something here....

It was clear at the time that the impeachment was actually the crime of obstruction of justice to prevent AG Barr from taking the evidence that Ukraine had on Joe Biden’s protection racket scheme with Burisma.
The people who really got scammed by the FBI were the Bernie supporters and other Democrat presidential candidates. Just as with Hillary’s email felonies, the Biden FBI coverup protected him from being forced out of the race and led to the fix to install him as the party candidate. The patsies on the left will never learn that the Democrat party is just a RICO organization and they never had an honest chance to be the candidate.
The only reason Biden had to run was to cover this up. The Dems went all-in to help hide this and now it blew up. This is also why Hilliary urged Biden not to concede *ever* and why Obummer has finally crawled out of the woodwork to campaign for Biden.
They should all be in prison.
I doubt Hunter lives another month. He better have good personal security or go into hiding.

yes and now the FBI is muddying the waters by saying they are investigating Russia disinformation using an unknowing Guilliani! After everything I believe NOTHING from the FBI...they are trying to head off the story by throwing that out there because lets be serious, anyone voting for Biden will want to grab onto that info. Now MSN or one of those stations is reporting the Russian angle and nothing else.
Well we already knew that - this just proves it again.
The docs released after the impeachment showing that fired ambassador (”I still don’t know why I was fired”) had meetings with Burisma herself proved it was a sham as well.
Surely our Government is looking at records of the Burisma executives identified in Hunter Biden’s email and checking with passports and records of entry into the united States to see if these people were in our nation and the dates they went through customs. Surely they are checking the logs of all visitors to the White House and Vice Presidents office to see if any Burisma executives named entered any of these facilities regardless of any logged or scheduled meetings to verify if these executives named cold have or were able to meet with Vice President Biden. Surely there is a paper trail being looked at by the Government and journalists to connect the dots. Surely there is a paper trail for a chain of custody by the FBI for the laptops that were obtained through subpoena and are safely stored at FBI headquarters in Washington D.C. and have not disappeared or been destroyed. Why would the FBI destroy evidence? Surely we are still a nation of laws and justice for all. Surely?
Trump and The Stupid Party have no idea how to get this out to the voting public. Trump rallies are terrific, entertaining his supporters, but does little to educate the rest of the voting community.
