I don’t think Trump worries one bit about ‘bad optics’.
Fauci started it. He runs to a microphone and says something counterproductive to Trump at least three times a week.
MacArthur got fired for being insubordinate just ONCE.
“Bad Optics” is allowing the impression that an octogenarian glorified lab tech who can’t keep his story straight for two days in a row is leading POTUS around by the shorthairs.
Sorry - also meant to state that his daily ranting and tweeting and complaining about Fauci, Barr etc. without DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THEM is pretty bad ‘bad optics’ IMO.
I agree with that. Rallies are one thing, but town hall should be handled different.
BTW, I am a HUGE Trump supporter.

t is pretty evident that Fauci likes the limelight and he is going to milk this crap for al it’s worth.
Trump had no choice but to let Fauci and Scarflady take the floor. Now it’s a different game and he’s adjusting his tactics, with Dr Atlas and more COVID knowledge available. I think he’s playing this just right, with 19 days to slow (not stop) the spread of deep state tyranny. Time to take the gloves off and win this.
