The fact cooper is polling up double digits after all the crap

I no longer live in North Carolina. But I'm praying that those polls are wrong.

Then again, it could be that the state goes for Trump but re-elects Cooper. North Carolina politics is weird like that...

True statement, as well as a source of anger.

Forest was very good in the debate. Cooper was doing well trying to keep up but he started to lose his composure toward the end.

Haha, the comment about rioters in Raleigh burning a pile of masks and calling the police “pigs” was one sure sign. Forest’s rebuttal was perfect saying with a laugh that was the strangest comment he’s heard and that if they were calling the police “pigs” they definitely weren’t his supporters.

The other sign was Cooper trying to tie in climate change with hurricanes. Forest stuck to the topic and talked about actually doing something for the people down east who still need help after 4 years of Roy’s leadership.

Forest was very well prepared and quite confident. I definitely think he won that little showdown but I would give credit to both for a very good debate.

You forgot Orange County, home to unc-ch (sic), the bluest part of the state. Asheville (Buncombe), too.

Yes, agree with you on all points.

Thanks for that summary and detail.

Yes, definitely should have included Chapel Hill and Asheville as liberal enclaves in NC.
