I'll wager he's had that thing for a long while and was used to handling it...which makes all the difference when the chips are down. I wondered if he might be a Cowboy Action Shooter. Yellowboys are popular there.
But it is hard to find a Cowboy Action Shooter who doesn't have a brace of six shooters...

I watched Two Mules for Sister Sara last evening on the Grit Channel. Two nights before, they had The Searchers and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon. I usually pick my movies based on scenery. The commercials are a real drag but it is free. I just pick up my phone and peruse FR.
