President Trump on Monday taunted Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden for effectively refusing his request for a pre-debate drug test.
“Joe Biden just announced that he will not agree to a Drug Test. Gee, I wonder why?” Trump tweeted ahead of his first debate with Biden in Cleveland on Tuesday.
Biden did not directly refuse Trump’s drug-test request, but his campaign made clear he would not consent to one ahead of the event in Cleveland.

THis is one of the few articles that actually defended Biden by saying it was only his CAMPAIGN that said he would not take the test.
Usually, the campaign says things, and the media gleefully claims Biden said it. Biden isn’t actually saying much of anything.

if you’re on the public payroll as a public servant making decisions that affect all of our lives , you need to take a drug test. No exceptions
If all kinds of other employees truck drivers airline pilots and other people have to take drug test why shouldn’t Congress?

This would be AN extreme waste of money, many public servants (especially those with clearances) ARE subjected to random drug tests which are enough deterrance in keeping honest people honest.
I’m more concerned about leaking classified and abuse of hatch act in IC
If I was President Trump I would make sure Biden’s podium does not have a Electronic screen in it like Hillary had,its the type that phrases scroll across usually in red
Why would anyone not using drugs deny a simple screen to assure the public that all is well and fair in such a crucial election. If the winner of a horse race is found to be drugged in any way, that horse is disqualified. Olympic winners, are, as well, if they are found drugged in any way. The Office of the US President is the most important position in the world. Why would it be considered to be lower in importance regarding drug cheating than in the sports world?
