France is hopeless. But French people existed long before there was a France. Its culture and history are unique and worth preserving, even as an occupied people. So there should be a resistance. I suggest a mode of resistance that any listening Frenchman in a position to do so may adopt. But really it’s not my business.
I agree with you. I have family there. It would have been nice to see them and experience “French” culture.
