“Patagonias stance on Term Limits might be positive.”
What is their stance?
And all products are natural materials and only move using mule trains right?
“...adding that the brands CEO Yvon Chouinard has been saying the phrase for years in reference to politicians from any party who deny or disregard the climate crisis and ignore science...”
“Patagonia Puts Vote the A**holes Out on Clothing Tags”
NO THEY DON’T!!!!!!!!
At the link, an image from a tweet, (I guess), CLEARLY SAYS...
VOTE THE ASSHOLES OUT
It doesn’t have ANY asterisks in it!
You can’t quote something and not use the “ACTUAL” quote.
Has anyone not heard the word “ASSHOLES” before?
Has anyone here not said the word “ASSHOLES”?
It’s a “WORD”! That’s it! JUST A WORD! Have any of you fainted reading this post?
I can understand not wanting to use profanity or vulgarity. I can understand employing “standards”, BUT when you “QUOTE” something, you HAVE TO use the REAL quote! Otherwise you are NOT QUOTING.
If a news story uses the word “Nigger”, you can’t quote what they said or wrote by substituting “the N Word”.
What the HELL is “the N Word”?
Hey, N Word, watz-up? I’m doin good N Word, how bout you dog?
I don’t think that is how the conversation goes.
The left has bastardized (a real word not profanity) the English language so much that people are afraid to use it. Changing words, substituting other words in their place, changing the meanings of words, making legitimate (maybe not “polite”) words “HATE SPEECH”.
WORDS MEAN THINGS (a famous radio host once said).
YES THEY DO/DID.
Can you imagine the level of eyerolling, loud sighs and silently shaking one’s head in disbelief that went on during construction? Somebody sends a Text to another worker:
“Can “U believe this Dude? He’s OK paying 6 times usual price so he can ‘work with the Earth’..LMFAO!!”
Levi’s ads are just as leftist.
Chouinard can go home to France and sell his China crap there.
Gave them up decades ago.
Same here, after being a fan for decades. Found out the heirs were bankrolling anti-2A groups.
Yup.
Levi has been against this country for a very long time.
Patagonia has 13 factories in China. Maybe if they had vote Chairman Xi out I might buy their clothing
All Rats are aholes. Vote them all out.
Some companies have been known to try to expand
their potential market, not halve it.
Yvonn Chinard (I hope spelling is good) believes in the dignity of work. An older friend of mine goes way back with Yvonne, back to early rock climbing days when they were improving on pitons and inventing other climbing aids in Yvonnes garage/ blacksmith shop. My friend went on to a successful career as a builder and Yvonne went on to manufacture gear and technical clothing for climbers. Neither set out to become wealthy but both did because they are smart and work hard. I cant figure out why they are both leftists but I do know that my friend is intolerant of Rush Limbaugh, cant explain why hes a lefty and will not discuss the virtues of other points of view. Neither are bothered by paying high taxes. My buddy is a great guy and I hope to meet Yvonne someday soon and perhaps rule out liberalism as a mental disorder.
With an assist [from] [BallotReady] weve got a widget to help folks [follow through] on that advice, too, added Wieners in a follow-up post the next day.
Patagonia has also announced that it will be working with BallotReady a voter guide for local elections to encourage people to vote global warming skeptics out of office, according to GQ.
Who are the A$$holes they are targeting?
Their website made me gag on the overwhelming amount of self-congratulatory self righteousness and then I found this...used clothes.

When corporations do something that seems really stupid, there is usually a CHINA Connection behind it.
