any Republican running this year for reelection to the senate will be toast if they don’t vote for the candidate put forth to take Ginsburg’s place..

Actually that may work against us. At least with Collins (who I believe was the deciding vote on Kavenaugh.) She’s from a liberal state and 5 points down in the polls, which I’m sure she attributes to her Kavenaugh vote. She would definitely burn us.
