Never got any of the toys - we used to stomp on pop cans to get them to curl around the soles of our shoes enough to hold on for a few annoying clickety-clacks while outside - the old-style heavy cans were pretty stout.

They were. A couple of cans of Friends Baked Beans would have been the right size, too.

The honey “stomach” serves and= entirely different function from the digestive stomach of the bee - it’s a receptacle/storage ..organ, if you will.
I’m trying to think of something to compare it to - the best I can come up with is the cheek pouch of a chipmunk. Sort of a storage area.
Anyway, that’s the best I can do on one cup of coffee.
I love bees - I can get all geeky about them and go on and on until eyes glaze over.
I will miss not having hives, but am getting a bit old as a female to lift boxes half my weight. :-/
