We will be travelling from western Pa to South Florida in November. The only thing I have worried about is rioters, especially since we will be going after the election. We will be taking rte 95 all the way down, I believe, and will be stopping half way down and on the return trip.
Travel papers?
We’ve used big-box stores like Lowes and Home Depot for road trip bathroom breaks.
Family and I spent 10 days at the beach on the Gulf Coast of Florida during July 4 holiday. Husband and I traveled to St. Louis twice and just spent 3 days camping in Tennessee. No problems with gas stations/restrooms, grocery stores, eat-in restaurants, hotels, campgrounds, or rest areas along the way. Except for the mutlitude of business-front signs and some mask-wearers, all seemed normal. Even had our dog with us.
The season for real campers is about to start. School has started and the temperatures will start dropping soon. I already have a site line up for the third week of Oct. Making reservations for Thanksgiving now.
My camper has very good heat and hot water with propane. We slept in it last winter during the ice storm power outage.
If you wish to travel in Wisconsin, you will need “Letters of Transit.” You can go to Rick’s Cafe’ Americain and probably find somebody to sell them to you. (Everybody goes to Rick’s). If possible, avoid Captain Louis Renault, Prefect of Police.
I am having a hard time believing this.
An RV has its own restroom. And its own fridge and kitchen. And those facilities never close.
Everyone knows those quarantines aren't enforceable. I've been to four different states this summer, #5 coming up next week. Drove my own vehicle, no one ever gave me a second look and yes, each of these states had "quarantine orders" for out of staters. Everyone scoffs at them.
