The fact that the deep state never laid a finger on Page, other than naming him, is suspect to me.
That smirking POS was CIA and was provided to the FBI so they could swear to the court there were people with Russian connections in the Trump campaign.
Hillary was supposed to win and we were never to know his name. He would have quietly gone back to Langley.

Page is no patriot. He is a treasonous CIA asset who helped the FBI try to set up Trump. He got caught and managed to land on his feet and make a few bucks.
This is a nice overview of Page’s book, which promises to provide much grist for the pro-Trump mill. But the author seems to miss the point with one passage:
“It was being branded a traitor that proved the most painful, Page told me. He was literally an altar boy and a Boy Scout, or more precisely an Eagle Scout. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy and served our country, first in the Navy and later as a source for the FBI and CIA. Yet the left had no qualms torching Page’s reputation in the hope of burning Trump.”
The author appears to make the suggestion that the Left’s trashing of Page was despite his honorable background as an altar boy, Eagle Scout, and Annapolis graduate. To the contrary: I would suggest it is more accurate to believe that the Left went after Page precisely because of his honorable nature, as Leftists cannot comprehend anyone who holds to traditional values as greater than the pursuit of power.
