Cruz would be a disaster and I’m sure Trump knows it. This is about the election.
I watched the whole thing including the attack questions by the media slugs.
The President was extremely measured in his responses and never once showed even a hint of losing his patience. The questioned were nothing new and they simply recycled from earlier in the pandemic.
I don’t think the press or the President was aware of what Fauci said today in shooting down Woodward’s claims.

Tim Scott? I don’t think he is a lawyer. Yes you do not have to be to be a Justice, but getting him through would be tough. Ted Cruz would be great. I thought Trump would have named him Solicitor General back in ‘16
Yeah, Mr. Goldman is quite compromised already, I am pretty sure.
He will reliably show off his intellectual muscle at key opportunities to undermine the Constitutional Originalist position.
They he will make the rounds and explain how his reasoning was airtight and is a launchpad for better jurisprudence from the future. That will ultimately fail to launch.
Don’t trust this guy at the USSC. He’s best suited to be a state of the art Texas Republican Congressman backbencher circa 1977.
As much as the DIMS keep saying Biden should put out his Cabinet choices, judge picks, etc., so that everyone can see what WONDERFUL people he’ll surround himself with to get more votes, they shouldn’t complain.

Cruz on the Court would drive the libs off the cliff.
It would be a waste to put Tim Scott on the court, as he is actually a good politician with a bright national future.
Since a SCOTUS isn’t required to be an attorney, I’m all for nominating Tom Fitton.
