The Dims want Trump to pardon Flynn so they can use it against him. But what would happen if Flynn decided to not play the game. Declare himself absolved by the DOJ and not show up for Sullivan’s kangaroo court. Yes, he would be held in contempt but would Sullivan issue a warrant for Flynn’s arrest?
Go to the Supreme Court and maybe Roberts will grant cert...
In truth, Sullivan had to wait 21 days before scheduling the conference due to procedural rules, so the delay is not on him, but it does tend to push the process past the election.
Interestingly, to me that delay takes away the motivation to not seek certiorari to the Supreme Court. If the process is going to extend anyway, . . .

They will keep kicking the can down the road until Trump steps in and issues the pardon. The courts will keep pushing this until the next appearance will be after the inauguration. If Biden wins there will be no other choice but a pardon. Then, the left will forever call Flynn a criminal who need a pardon from corrupt Trump.
If you are a just person who believes in the presumption of innocence, you have a duty to NOT avoid jury duty. Boycotting jury duty, like refusing to vote, accomplishes nothing.
All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men (and women) to do nothing.
