Good! I hope it’s true. Let their economy and their party burn to the ground!

“if China falters, our market will take a nose dive.”

That is why I have not jump back into the Market.

History has a way of repeating itself.
There was a Depression from Jan 1920 to July 1921. The US quickly recover bring in the roaring 20s.

Everything look good until the big crash of Oct 1929, the start of the Great Depression.

Could we see China falter, leading to a world wide Depression in 2029?
Or maybe the USA government is to far in debt to recover from this?

*** Mark Twain: “History doesn’t repeat itself but it often rhymes” ***

I’m very close to retiring. It’s tough sledding. My allocation is 50/50. I don’t want to take a hit, but I don’t have enough to put it all in stability of principle funds.

Considering a move to 60/40, but without stocks, the growth would be pitiful.
