I couldn’t agree more. I’ve never seen him as the enemy.

At the time Snowden was in the news I thought he was either the treasonous bastard they said he was or possibly a hero. After watching Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Mueller and the rest operate I’m leaning towards hero.

Interesting. A pardon sounds good, but I don’t know enough.

He betrayed Clapper and Brennan not the USA. Clapper and Brennan were running the most pervasive domestic illegal spying operation in human history and lying.

Wikipedia

U.S. U.S. Edward Joseph Snowden (born June 21, 1983) is an American whistleblower who copied and leaked highly classified information from the National Security Agency (NSA) in 2013 when he was a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) employee and subcontractor.

Snowden was sub-contracted to the NSA from the CIA. The plan was to take down the NSA. CIA was derp controlled (Brennan). NSA was a threat to the CIA and the derp state due to its information gathering programs and a rival of the CIA in that arena.

Trump knows these things. He is likely trying to get Snowden to come in from out of the cold.

Without Snowden, we would not know that the NSA has been secretly spying on the phone calls of millions of American citizens - who we call, and how long we talk to them. We wouldn't know that the NSA searches our email content, our contact lists, or that the NSA has been accessing information about our Google and Yahoo accounts. Reports state that about 90% of the information obtained by the NSA through these means has no relevance to national security - it's simply private communication between American citizens that the NSA got access to, including the calls and texts of people NSA agents are romantically interested in.

I don't remember agreeing to live in a surveillance state that would have made Erich Honecker of East Germany proud. These people supposedly work for us - they are not our overlords.

Snowden broke the law in exposing the NSA's activities. To the extent that those activities consisted of spying on millions of innocent Americans going about their lives, I think he should be pardoned. If Snowden deliberately blew US intelligence operations against foreign enemies, he can face separate charges on those acts.

If Trump pardons him, Snowden will stop being a hero of the left. Trump will ruin his leftist street cred.

When Snowden fled he was aided by the Chinese and the Russians. They didn’t do that for free so the question is what he gave them for it? And what else did he have of to offer except classified information?

The net effect of a Snowden pardon would be minimal in terms of reducing or eliminating government snoops and corruption. It might increase talk about it for a while.

With all the talk of Shadowgate and snooping, one should ask himself whether he is able to resist gaslighting, disinformation, and the stated manipulations wrought by the same.

Because Snowden exposed the BS lies and domestic spying campaign

First of all NSA has collected ALL signals intelligence worldwide since the 1950s. All Eddy Snowjob exposed to the US public was information that had been in the public domain for decades - that many didn’t know about it, is no excuse to honor him or pardon him. That the media downplayed or ignored the rest of the story was to gain him sympathy and cover for all those closeted spies to follow as still more US secrets move to China.

What Eddy exposed was NSA’s Methods and Means of data collection at the behest of his Chinese handlers, and then went on to give that same info to Russia, Iran and AQ. The cost of that treason was numerous US foreign agents killed and the total redesign of NSA’s Methods and Means, costing many millions, if not billions, of tax payer dollars. For all those reasons Snowjob deserves a wall and a hail of lead.

Your position is Trump’s current position:

“Many people think he should be somehow treated differently, and other people think he did very bad things.” Trump is doing the right thing by looking into it; he is not doing an emotional, political knee-jerk ...he does not assert because obozo illegally spied him, then Snowden did the right thing by exposing other obozo illegal spying.

The looking into a pardon is the right thing to do. It is established that obozo spied on Merkel, U.S. Senators, news media, and Trump, and used Lerner’s IRS to strongarm grassroot, small political opposition organization. So the track record is to believe that Snowden was railroaded for standing up against illegal spying. If the facts turn out that he was railroaded, then we would not be surprised given obozo’s corrupt administration.

Let’s not forget the homosexual soldier Manning who downloaded and released classified information, was convicted but then pardoned by obozo when it wouldn’t cost obozo any votes.

Trump’s doing the right thing to get all the facts, including whether Snowden spilled beans to our enemies, which is to be expected.

What he did was so wrong it hurts to think of it - on the flip side, some of what he disclosed may have saved our Nation from the Deep State. He may have known that using legal channels would have resulted in his own “suicide’.
I say, give him leniency but not a full pardon.

You think Snowden is some sort of patriot? You're in good company, so does the ACLU:

image

https://twitter.com/ACLU/status/1294837944650551296

You appear to be a good guy that was snookered by the Snowden fairytale. Appears you bought into the propaganda line. So many today are still deceived by MSM and influence operators.

This investigator journalist was arrested Friday in front of her kids for what many believe is her role in getting the truth out to the American people about massive weaponized influence operations:

https://newtube.app/user/Hostage

Watch ShadowGate. Sit back and be a student of how social influence players operate. You'll be glad you did.

If you saw the Hollywood studio film 'Snowden' and thought it was historically accurate, hopefully, you'll rethink that.

FR community is not a ship of fools. They know Snowden was a traitor, in league with Brennan.

War between globalist CIA and patriot NSA
https://www.thedailybeast.com/inside-the-q-group-the-directorate-hunting-down-edward-snowden

Snowden was sent by CIA to infiltrate NSA, steal spy tools, sabotage/inventory NSA monitoring of rogue globalist IC ops especially Brennan Muslim Brotherhood network.

Former CIA Director, John Brennan speaks out about his Muslim faith in fluent Arabic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLNO2MEb0vU

How do you take over Western Intelligence? You put people at top, you pass over those that don't enthusiastically carry the party policies, you fire or suicide patriots that get in the way.

NSA technology advanced so far in capability, CIA was made obsolete, like FBI poised to replace Pinkertons. NSA could monitor everything working with FVEYS including what rogue CIA was doing. Not good for Muslim Brotherhood.

CIA top brass had gone globalist, NSA retained allegiance to US. Lies put out in MSM that Snowden was hero exposing big bad NSA. Hollywood made him such a darling, such a hero.

Admiral Mike Rogers knew rogue players in CIA/MI6 + others in FVEYS conspired to boost globalist trade organizations under international banking cartels demoting USA to ordinary member, nothing special, planning to render USA as thing of the past, Constitution irrelevant. US military to be globalist mercenary force paid for by Saudis.

Brennan and his circle needed to neuter NSA and DIA. Tried to have Rogers fired. Succeeded in firing Flynn.

Flynn and Rogers were on same team, knew each other, saw what was happening, caught on to Brennan intent. Both Rogers and Flynn and their families suffered greatly, escaped assassination attempts.

Snowden ran to Russia and revealed US intel secrets to save his own hide. He's a traitor.

When the ACLU calls you a hero, when America-hating Germans (yes, they exist) finance a fawning film about you, when lefties all over hell push Trump to pardon you, it's a fairly good indication to conservatives that you're not made of good ingredients.

If PDJT says it, it is because he has the facts. He is PDJT, not us. His facts come from the actual sources, not what we see. He doesn’t tweet stuff that would make himself or the U.S. look stupid.

“Snowden did not betray the country. Clapper and the CIA/NSA did. Clapper was asked directly about widespread illegal domestic spying aimed at the American people. He lied to Congress right on TV and said no.”

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Here is another one...As with Clinesmith, why Clapper skated all this time? Barr & Durham at least have Clapper on lying to Congress...

What is the hold-up here?...jack this guy upon already!

He should be sentenced to spend a few years in jail then his sentence commuted.(NOT PARDONED!!!) He did wrong but he exposed a lot of wrongness in the system by doing so.
