She was fine with the stand down orders and resulting mayhem but a budget cut was a bridge too far.

Democrats are totally brainwashed and blaming “white supremacists” for the rioting and violence. Or Russians. Or something. They are totally unhinged from reality now.
So the budget gets cut by less than 1% and she quits?! Wow, she doesn’t get the optics.

They need more training. Which could cost more money. But more money doesn’t equate to more training. Usually it equates to more guns and other military toys.
The Dems are unhinged and full of hate to the point that it is futile trying to reason with them, yet Republicans still naively think they can. Predictably, the Republicans lose every time.
Why waste another moment trying to work with or convince them of anything? The only way to deal with the radical Dems is to ridicule, marginalize and/or ignore them. Make them be the first to offer real concessions if they want to negotiate. Otherwise, to hell with them.
Trump has written the playbook but the idiot Republicans refuse to use it.
Normalcy bias reigns. Most Republican voters don’t want to face the ugly truths we face: all our institutions are utterly corrupt and our political opponents (both inside and outside the GOP) wish us dead.
