An Australian drug known as Ivermectin, which is already in use throughout the world to treat parasitic conditions, is showing great results in killing coronavirus in studies involving patients, (according to Sky News.)
"Because I'm involved in developing these in the U.S. where all the patients are, there are a number of studies that are amazingly successful. We're talking close to 100%. In fact, we haven't seen a result yet under 100%. It looks like corona is very simple to kill," Professor Thomas Borody, medical director of Australia's Center for Digestive Disease. "It's available as a prescription medication. You wouldn't use it alone ... but you add two other things to it such as doxycycline and zinc."

Not sure about clearing it up but if it works, it must be banned.

Maybe the FDA should make the human version accessible.
The FDA will control what drugs you will receive. Guess all these Doctors who went to school for years and years are just plain “deplorable”.

In the old days, you’d mitigate and take proven medications until a vaccine or cure was found and applied. Mask wearing was for the Spanish Flu and theirs weren’t any better than ours. The big difference is Covid-19 is not anything on the scale of the Spanish Flu in terms of lethality. If Americans of today had the BMI of their forebears from a century ago, the death toll would be far lower (though, given the people running the current Establishment, the fear porn and lockdowns and petty tyranny might still be bedeviling us).
I thought, given the advances in medicine and the current state of technology, that we’d have a handle on the rona by now and back to normal. Instead, the Deep State has used the rona to scare and get a handle on US!
Generic “Ivermectin” is dirt cheap for my dog.....Not sure the cost for the human version.
My dogs get Ivermectin as heartworm prevention and we gave it to the horses for parasites. I bet the human and animal versions are the same. Vets prescribe human meds all the time for pets and the only difference is that the FDA hasn’t cleared them for use in pets. The meds are the same. It probably works the other way too but if it’s prescribed for people more money can be made. It’s not prescription for animals.
We give ivermectin to horses for worm preventative. Also kills their ticks.
Don’t know why they say it’s Australian. Ivermectin is a Japanese drug.
I don’t blame the FDA for the warning. I’ve recently had to deal with someone medicating a dog (different drug) without bothering to look up how to do it. (What the mcg/Kg are for the particular species and for the particular parasite. ) The dog overdosed but will be OK.

A quick search of Pubmed shows no randomized double blinded control studies for ivermectin and covid. Therefore, its all speculation at this point.
Ivermectin is already FDA approved medicine. Using it for covid therapy would likely put it in the "off label use" category.

You can buy the veterinary stuff OTC. Getting it dosed down is non-trivial. It’s mostly meant for horses.
At the normal consumer level, it’s the typical active ingredient in doggie heartworm pills.
I prescribed ivermectin to patients with scabies a few times. It worked well with no serious side effects
Saw a Zoom talk Friday by a top doc from a local hospital mostly on the topic of Covid. He emphasized a couple times that this virus is only 7 months old in the U.S. There’s still a lot about it we don’t know, and the tests aren’t really that great, with a fair number of false negatives and positives for a variety of reasons.
Maybe it’s manufactured locally? That caught my eye as well, wondered about that, didn’t know about the Japanese aspect.
