Players from the Vegas Golden Knights and Dallas Stars knelt on the ice before their game Monday to support Black Lives Matter and other social causes.
Dallas forward Tyler Sequin and Jason Dickinson knelt alongside Vegas forward Ryan Reaves and goaltender Robin Lehner during the American and Canadian national anthems prior to their round-robin playoff game.

Can anyone name even ONE major sport that hasn’t gone ‘woke’? Anyone?
(Maybe the Unlimited Hydroplanes?)
First Commandment is against the idolatry these athletes and the Pelosi,Nadler and Schumer politicians are showing.
“Every knee shall bow” is not a cheap political slogan for an election boost, to be used to worship BLM.
The NHL does not have a large fan base in the US. This type of display could jettison US fan support in a hurry.
It is Seguin, not Sequin, Breitbart.
I'm not sure but how about curling? Those guys in sweaters are already so of bending on one knee to play, so hard to tell.
Is this the time like in the movie Dodge Ball where ESPN-8 will feature the pre-exhibition season, pre-tryout curling camp activities?
Unlimited Air Races have not gone to the dark side, yet.
That makes it complete for me, NBA,NFL,Mlb and now NHL. Waiting to see what College’s do.
if those Canadian players knelt during MY anthem they better well have knelt during THEIR anthem, as well as the American players, if any....
The PGA?
Yup,I’m finding that I can live a very fulfilling life without professional sports.
People need to stop going to games.
But they won’t.
They had already stopped in the NFL. The pics were awesome. Anyway, butts in the seats aren’t where the money’s made.
Bet the ratings and demos are gonna have some people who can see what’s coming excreting bricks.
A sad day for hockey.

(let me know if you want on or off the ping list)
In fairness, only two players from each team knelt. The rest stood. It was not like the NBA.
It isn’t major, but went to a Waterloo Bucks baseball game. It is part of the Northwoods Baseball League. It’s basically a summer league for college players looking to stay sharp. During the anthem all of them stood with hats over their hearts. It was awesome and the half crowd that was there showed their appreciation with a loud cheer at the end.
I can name one. Horse racing.
The two teams only have about a dozen US players between them. The majority are Canadian with a number of Swedes and Finns, with a few Czechs and Russians.
I predict that as attendees dwindle teams will hire actors to be in the stands in certain areas so the players can pose in front of them, making it seem like the whole stadium is full...

When the first familiar chords of "O Canada" play at schools, hockey games and other events, Canadians stand with pride in honour of their country.
And anyway they spelled honor wrong.
