Trump has proven to be rather astute in picking candidates who can actually win.

Sometimes his choices befuddle or upset me, but I have to admit that most of the time he turns out to be right.

That’ll be really, really hard.

Most of the poll watchers, collectors of polls, appointed accessors of the poll count, the state Secretary of State, and most of the people who make up the overall governmental infrastructure of Alabama are Republicans.

Now Birmingham, Mobile—and more and more Montgomery— governments are democrat and black. They can all vote 100% democrat, and still not change the overall numbers too much.

This is SO true!

It has gotten a lot worse over the past couple of months.

I often go there just for the laughs, but do like the college football coverage.

I have to sign up to see results?

I’d rather just go to the Alabama SoS page.

The conclusion to draw from this “poll” conducted for an explicitly Democratic news organ, is that the Democrats have given up on the Alabama Senate race and are signalling their members to not waste money on it. An implication of this is that they are not as confident about Georgia, North Carolina, etc., than they are claiming.

Jones is there because too many could not stomach voting for Roy Moore so they stayed home.

Jones is there because the GOP campaigned for him. The GOP could have pulled Moore over the line but chose not to.

(Trippi) said the campaign’s own polling shows the race a virtual tie.

Yeah, with a MOE of 20%. Go back to sleep, Joe.

Then that awful Sean Hannity interview.

Oh... I SO agree with you. That was THE moment when Moore lost the race.

Yep. Moore left home a shocking/astounding 685,000 Rs in the 2017 race. You have to be some kind of horrible to do that.

They won’t stay home now.

The democrats are going to be spending a lot for postage for mail in ballots this cycle. It’s not like they have stamp vending machines in the big cemetarys.

If the election is close, the democrats can always dig up a few more voters in the graveyards.

Hard to understand why any Roll Tides would vote against their best interests and for a ‘RAT who would only continue to make life miserable for everyone except the Ruling Class. Football rivalries are one thing, but the survival of the United States as a free & prosperous nation is another.

War Eagle! Go Navy!

Trump has proven to be rather astute in picking candidates who can actually win.

There’s nothing astute about it. Trump simply waits to see how a candidate is performing before he makes an endorsement. He never endorsed Tuberville in this race until a poll came out several weeks before the primary showing him with a big lead over Sessions.

Alabama has a solid Republican majority and are especially fond of Pres. Trump

Then what happened two years ago?

Trump did the opposite of endorsing Sessions and that is why Tuberville got enough votes to have Trump endorse him. At any rate Tuberville owes his Senate seat entirely to Donald Trump.

Now that is the one poll that I can agree with this early! Jones had no business winning that last election and in deep Red Ala. in a presidential election year he is finished. Especially, since he voted for impeachment. I expect the DNC not to throw any money into the race. The seat is vital since we could lose a senate seat somewhere else.
