While many in the media feed off polls showing Democratic challenger Joe Biden poised for a blowout election victory, the third survey this week showed the race much closer, with just 4 points dividing the candidates.
The just-released Emerson College poll showed Biden at 50% and President Trump at 46%. The survey of 964 likely voters has a plus or minus 3.1 percentage point rating of accuracy.
And, it added, “A majority of voters, 53%, still think Trump will be reelected in November.”
It was the third poll this week to show a narrow election.

It always cracks me up when polls “tighten up” as we approach election day. These polls are pretty much worthless, but it gives the 24 hour news cycle something with which to fill time between commercials.
As soon as the ballots are printed the Dems will back their Chevys up to the printers loading dock and start to load the trunks with the ‘popular support’ for Communism.

Close polls in the summer and with the influence of NY and California on national numbers, the swing states will be even better.

“With the safety concerns of voting in person due to COVID-19, a majority (58%) of voters still plan to vote in person, while 43% plan to vote by mail. Among those who plan to vote in person, Trump leads 65% to 32%; Biden leads with those who intend to vote by mail, 76% to 20%.”
Because of the electoral college, Trump doesn’t need over 50% of the vote to be re-elected, as evidenced by the 2016 election. Every voter in CA and NY could vote Dem and it wouldn’t matter.

Good. Knew a young lady in college who voted for Carter over Ford. Asked her why. Her answer: “Because I thought he was going to win.”
I love they way the use a scowling Trump and a Smiling Biden.
Polls suck. Don’t believe them. What is the purpose of them?
2) Polls of "Registered voters" are largely useless.
3) Undersampling of R's and R's intentionally lying to pollsters is common practice.
In other words, polls are simply for entertainment unless they use proper polling procedures. There are scant few who do it right.
Where/when is that graphic from? Is doesn’t seem to jive with that same pollster’s latest reported results:

How many of us are out there? How many respond, but only with the current leftist party line to avoid backlash? You tell a Jehovah's Witness at your door that you don't attend Church and they're not going to come back that evening and torch your house. You put a MAGA bumper sticker on your car, and in far too many places it is almost certainly going to be vandalized.
I believe there are disreputable pollsters out there who will tell their clients whatever they think the client wants to hear. I actually feel sorry for the pollsters with integrity because their job is virtually impossible right now. There's no way to provide answers with any significant level of confidence.
Because the unwashed, aka democrats, like Michael Moore, are incredibly stupid.
